I haven’t blogged much about food lately, because I’ve been in a cooking rut. Do you ever get like that? I love cooking but this happens every now and then. When I get like this I usually go in search of a cookbook to motivate me, and I found a great one! I’m happy to to announce I’m getting back into cooking and the swing of things, so I had to show you this book that is inspiring me. Half Baked Harvest is a cookbook full of delicious recipes and breathtaking photos – I don’t know about you, but I love buying cookbooks that are heavy on photos. It always motivates me to cook more when I have a visual!
This book is filled with recipes that contain fresh ingredients. You’ll find ones such as “Spring Pea and Mint Risotto” and “Marinated Flank Steak With Sesame Roasted Potatoes”. I decided to blog about this book because It’s not often I come across a cookbook that’s this well rounded. It includes some vegetarian recipes, slow cooker recipes, pasta, salads, breakfasts, and a few desserts. Many of the recipes can be adapted to low carb as well – which I’m always on the lookout for. We like to do low carb from time to time, depending on the time of year and our activity. Any time I find a product that I think can make life easier or inspire I like to share it with everybody.
If you need some cooking motivation, or maybe just a little inspiration to add more fresh vegetables into your diet, I think this book will do it. Just browsing through the pages I’m drooling and trying hard to pick which recipe to make for dinner tonight! Free shipping makes this book even better! If you try this book let me know what you think and your favorites.
